Bringing Hospitality Into Your Home

Holding A Tea

about me...

Practical support and companionship for older adults living independently.

For approximately 30 years, I worked in the hospitality industry, where I developed a deep understanding of what it means to provide thoughtful, dependable and personalized service.

Hospitality taught me to listen carefully, anticipate needs, pay attention to the little things, respect personal preferences and, above all, treat every person with dignity.

Those same skills are at the heart of the service I now provide to seniors.

I believe that asking for a little help should never mean giving up your independence. Whether it's preparing a meal, doing some grocery shopping, tending the garden, folding laundry, helping with a household task, or simply sitting down for a conversation, my goal is to make everyday life a little easier and a lot more enjoyable.

Professional service. Genuine companionship. Respect for your independence.

why choose angels working overtime?

Hospitality taught me to pay attention—not only to what people ask for, but to what they may need before they have to ask. Over 30 years, I developed a strong eye for detail, the ability to anticipate needs and an understanding of what makes people feel comfortable and well looked after.

I have had the pleasure of working with respected restaurants in Victoria, Toronto and Vancouver, including Pescatore's, Brassaii, La Société, Earls, The Keg, The Sandbar and Joe Fortes. Each emphasized high standards, strong systems and the importance of making every guest feel valued.

As a former ESL instructor, I also enjoyed creating engaging activities and learning games for my students—an experience that translates naturally into spending meaningful and stimulating time with older adults. I enjoy puzzles, riddles, games, music and other activities that keep the mind engaged.

Whether sharing a hobby, enjoying a conversation or helping with practical tasks around the home, I value the opportunity to get to know my clients as individuals.

Having lived a full and colourful life myself, I have a few stories to share—and just as much interest in hearing yours.
